Hotel Congress Wedding | Kristen + Kyle | Tucson, Arizona Wedding Photographer

Kristen + Kyle made it official at their Hotel Congress wedding in April on a warm spring afternoon. I met Kristen before the wedding to discuss their day, and it was such a beautiful surprise. Here was this girl so excited and in love, gushing over the incredible man Kyle is, and just really emphasizing her excitement to have a day surrounded by the ones they love the most, partying and celebrating their marriage. What I loved about Kristen + Kyle’s wedding was that it felt like a night out with their friends. I followed them around and they danced, took shots and hugged each other fiercely. I love watching Kyle and Kristen, in the middle of the crowd, finding each other to exchange laughs and hugs like “can you believe we just did this?!” Their families raved of the respect they have for these two; of their dedication to their careers and families and the gifts of determination they both posses. Kristen + Kyle, it was an honor to create beautiful, colorful portraits for the two of you and capture the story of your day.

Secret Garden Event Center Wedding | Melissa + Thang | Phoenix Wedding Photographer

I photographed this Secret Garden Event Center wedding with the rockstar, Brittany Mahood in Phoenix this past Fall. I love having the opportunity to second shoot because it gives me chance to flex my creative muscles and notice details that I wouldn’t usually if I in the midst of being the lead shooter. Melissa + Thangs wedding was colorful and it was a pleasure to photograph the details and connections between the guests, the kids and each other. I am proud of these images and the moments captured. I’d love to hear which ones stick out to you!

Bella Rose Estate Wedding | Katie + Matt | Phoenix, Arizona Wedding Photographer

“He smiled and said he liked me too and we started dating from there…”

Katie and Matt were surrounded by family and friends for their wedding at Bella Rose Estate on a blustery March day. Matt’s groomsmen teared up describing Matt’s selfless and caring nature; one of the qualities that drew Katie to him. Katie was giddy and joyful throughout the day, surrounded by friends heaping words of love and prayers upon her. Matt and Katie spent much of their night hugging and thanking their guests. They are two people who genuinely have a heart for others, and I can only imagine those servant hearts will be magnified as they become one and love others together! There were snuggles and hugs and smores, bridesmaids in badass tattoos, golden light, and flowers and tears. I am happy to share their moments here. It was an honor for me to create special images for Katie + Matt to look back upon with joy and celebration. Enjoy!

Stonebridge Manor Wedding | Marcus + Amanda | Mesa, Arizona Wedding Photographer

Marcus and Amanda celebrated their wedding in Mesa, Arizona at Stonebridge Manor!

They share a love that is so gentle. deep and true. I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement photos just about year ago. Right away, they invited me in, so comfortable to express their love with each other while in front of me. It was a joy to witness such a special exchange between two people. Their love is tender and quiet with great impact. Marcus and Amanda grew up together, knowing each other since middle school. Their wedding did not seem like two distinct sides, but rather two families coming together to celebrate their mutual joy. Watching both Marcus and Amanda’s moms hug each other before the ceremony was such a testament to this; looking at each other like “Can you believe this is happening?!” Two families just genuinely excited and proud to witness a momentous day for their kids. In my opinion, a witness of love is the way it makes those around you feel. Well, I can say that I left Marcus and Amanda’s wedding day feeling deeply joyful. Amanda played a song just for me on the dance floor so I could get down with them. I received so many hugs from them and their guests. The speeches given to them raved of their selflessness and willingness to help others; their inspiring love. Marcus, Amanda and their families are people that open their lives to others, cultivating an atmosphere of hospitality simply with their presence. It was my joy to be present with my camera. Enjoy these moments of Marcus + Amanda’s most special day.
