Morgan | Portraits of Hope

"To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God."           - Timothy Keller

This quote is most often attributed to marriage, but to me, it applies to intimacy within community as well. My friend Morgan displays this type of love so well. She, with strength she's been given and has fought for, shares her story openly - she allows herself to be known and loved. This vulnerability causes openness from others and allows for truer connections and love to be had. I'm so glad to know her and so glad I was able to photograph a bit of her wimpy, hopefulness and boldness.
